Have you ever mistaken kindness for stupidity?

oh yes -- several occasions -- i seem to go backwards not forwards-matey

I am probably a bit too cynical sometimes, but sorta have a memory of feeling kinda dumb myself when the "kindness" turned out to have a very good effect, surprising AND embarrassing me

because soemtimes you can put yourself in harms way by being stupid.

then when you ask the "victim" they will answer

"I was merely being KIND, I didnt expect that I would be victimized instead"
