My son uses the Playtex drop in bottles. They really helped minimize the amount of air a baby sucks in through the bottle too.

Okay I have tried every bottle under the sun, LITERALLY! The only bottle that works for my lil man is the Evenflo Classics, they are great!! What is really great is that they usually only run about $1 per bottle. I bought all of those expensive bottles and my son hated them all so it was a big waste of money. I would definitely try out evenflo! Congrats!!!

It depends on if you're breastfeeding. I breastfeed and use Dr. Brown's because they don't have that vacuum effect that regular bottles do and the nipple is slow flow so my little one doesn't get too attached and still nurses when I need her to. I also use the Playtex Drop-Ins for the same reason. I like the Playtex bottles best because the flow is the slowest, doesn't have the vacuum, and the nipple is huge so it's more like my own. These are just my favorite because I breastfeed, though, so if you formula feed I'm sure any bottle would be okay as long as your baby liked it.

i like the regular gerber bottles. clear bottom colored bottle rim... i like them becaue my kids didnt get fussy when usinng them and the nipple didnt cllapse after 5 min. and the nipple is the same shape as the nipples they gave me to use in the hospital so by time i got home they were already use to that nipple shape and ddnt want the weird nipple shaped bottles. i would never recommend he paytex drop ins. my kids a lil sis sucked the plastic up and made it leak all over

None at all. I will assume that you plan to breastfeed (you don't mention any reason you CAN'T breastfeed) and breastfed babies dont' need bottles.
If you will want/need to introduce a bottle later on, you can buy bottles at the time you need them, but having bottles on hand in the early weeks isn't a good idea. (You'll be tempted to use them, and early bottles often mean early weaning.)

i agree with the previous answer. i used bottles that were closest to the hospitals as i could get. evenflo worked very well for my son.
