What do you think about 2012?
When I look at world events these past couple years, and I see all these earthquakes happening (one of which took place in Maryland of all places recently!); and when I think about all these tropical storms that have been occurring in the past 10 years or less, I am given to suspect that there are some very severe changes happening on our world, and these changes are a symptom of something totally disastrous to come. Nevermind the Mayan Calendar, which merely serves as an alert....look at what's been really happening lately, and imagine what's going to happen in 2011. With all of these changes, do you feel that this world is coming to some kind of crux as I do, or can you just continue to support a false-belief in that nothing is going to happen at all??
I don't know what it is, but I just feel somewhere deep inside, that something bad is going to happen, but I also feel that in our eyes it would be deemed bad, but in the long run, it will be looked-upon as an actual good event. In other words, if a large portion of the population of this planet is extinguished, well, that might not be so bad in the long run, and in fact, it might turn out as the best thing that ever happened to those of us left alive after the event. I think the world is over-populated, and the powers that be cannot allow this situation to continue, and so a course of action has been set forth a long time ago in effort to alleviate this situation. I think the world will be inherited by the meek as the bible states, and that those who will be designated as "the meek" will be the best of us....those who have the absolute best moral compass, who have not, and cannot, be corrupted...those of us who currently live within the sight of God.

Well, my beliefs are that I don't think that this world will come to a complete end it will just welcome a new generation. And a part in the bible it says that it is to late for god to save this entire world he will only save the ones who truly belive in him and have given their lives to the lord. I belive a masive distruction will occur on the date of dec 21 2012 that will kill many people but once again we are noy god we can not say when it is our time to go nor any one else. Even though the mayan calander predicts this and they are the first to discover astrology they are not god.

It will come right after 2011, say at midnight on Dec. 31, 2011 and Jan. 1, 2012. Really, If you read the book of Rev. this will give you insight to what you are talking about. The fact is, no human knows this time. God will decide that Himself.

Well, think of it this way.
As a civilization, we are bound to make mistakes, and any religious text and person can guess that. So, by knowing changes and mistakes are going to be made, they put it down in the bible, Qu'ran, Torah etc. to scare people into believing. I think we just need to grow up and fix stuff.
I am you future, and I intend to help fix the world.

ummm, the Myan calender doesn't end, it just restarts. Although, i think the fact that the guy carving it said "screw it" and ended it @ 2012. The world didn't end in 666, @ midnight of 2000, and I doubt its going 2 end in 2012. But if it does, I live with no regrets.
