Which team has the best defense in the NFL this year?

Going by what I've seen in pre-season (and not what hyped players they have starring on them) the two that impress me the most are the Ravens and the Texans.

Jets by using a ways have the terrific protection. They have not allowed a landing yet. Texans have been given 7 factor on them because of the fact of sanzhez and then the texans score 34 factors in week 2 while there no longer enjoying a jet protection. Jets are good agains the run and bypass. such as you already reported the Pats are nonetheless a powerful offense, yet they suddenly met a brick wall against the jets.

The popular answer in the preseason in the Jets. but if their Secondary improves, The 49ers have the best front 7 in the NFL and could be a defense to watch.

The Williams wall, Jared Allen, at one end, and Ray Edwards, at the other. Is the best D. line in football. With E.J. Henderson back, at linebacker, the Vikings have a very solid linebacker crew again, and with the addition of rookie cb. Chris Cook, who is looking very good, and Antoine Winfield playing healthy again, he's a beast @ 190lbs. The Safety's look very solid this year. I think this year you will see the return of the PURPLE PEOPLE EATERS.

My vote has to be with the Carolina Panthers for now but they won't be able to hold out for very long with no offense to speak of. When regular season starts they won't have fresh defensive players to put in all the time and they will get worn down.

Green Bay has a young, terrific defense. They have the best secondary and linebacker corps combo in the NFL. They have a weak D-Line, but that could better this season if B.J. Raji continues to improve in his 2nd year.

The Jets, as long as they get Revis back, also has one of the best defenses in the league.

Lions. Vanden Bosh, Suh, Avril, Peterson, Levy, Bly, Speviey, Delmas, and Houston will are be good this year.

The Jets do, they signed Cromatie and Taylor in the offseason which adds to an already great defense and IF Revis comes back, JETS JETS JETS!!! no question about it. J-E-T-S
