Did David Moyes actually see his team win 1 - 0 yesterday?
At the start of the day Moyes was 50/1 to be the next Villa Manager but after a torrent of money he is now 11/4 favourite for the post. Could you see him leaving Everton for Villa Park?
Ladbrokes have now shorterned him to 2/1.......Those in the know must have seen Moyes and Lerner talking yesterday at VP and then the statement was issued by AVFC stating that the next manager must have Premier League experience ruling out many contenters.

I feel for him - he has done wonders for Everton but he can only take the Club so far with the budget he has and the lack of ambition of the board.
Everton have got off to their usual bad start and Villa have more money than Everton that for sure.
I can see Moyes thinking about it but I think he is a very Loyal Man and will stick with Everton

I heard it today on the radio that the bookies had stopped taking bets on Moyes as next Villa manager. To be honest, the bookies are not often wrong, but I just can't understand why Moyes would leave Everton for Villa? The only reason I could see is that he's sick of not getting the financial backing that many other managers get. He could make Everton genuine title contenders if he was given some REAL money for transfers.

I'm a hugh fan of moyes, and i really believe that he has achieved all he can at everton. he has managed to even get them into a champions league spot during his time there. the reality is that the club just doesn't have the funds to provide moyes with enough money to strengthen these days. the squad is pretty much the same as last season's and you just cannot do that if you want to move forward. I think that professionally, it would be a good move for moyes. having said that, i dont think everton will let go without a fight. 8 years...champions league qualification, beaten the very best the country can offer at goodison and got the best out of the likes of cahill, jags, howard and many more. terrific manager.

I honestly can't see Moyes leaving Everton for Villa. They seem pretty similar clubs. Villa have become a bit of a selling club. I think Moyes is loyal to Everton and would only leave Everton if Man United offered him the managers job at Old Trafford.

Actually , Villa are doing pretty whacky without a manager .. Out of the Europa , they can now concentrate on getting a good place at the Prem and get into Europa with a manager next year .. Thye played very very well on sunday ..
But nah , I am actually surprised that Moyes was negotiating to manage Villa .. He wouldn't go there .. I would rather Sam Allardyce or McLeish manage Villa in the future ...

Sky Bet are often wrong. Remember Ribery's odds to joining Liverpool were slashed to 2/1 a few seasons ago?
Cesc was 1/4 to join Barca in July, Ashley Cole was odds on to move to Real too.
Personally I don't see Moyes moving to Villa he's got a good thing going at Everton and I would be sad to see him throw it away to move to Villa.

The only reason why Moyes could move is the lack of financial support at Everton. We have a great team but just cannot compete in financial terms. We need more investment at Everton. He could also be starting to lose faith in the team for the start to this season is the worst in a decade. I hope he stays at Everton.

Its probly just a way for the bookies to just rake in more money, well probly see moyes laughing about it tomorrow and about 5000 people out of pocket. If i had to put money on a manager id say slavan bilic or phil brown, besides why the hell would you leave everton and go to AVFC
