I love Egypt so it is my country like every one love his country
but I dont feel safe or free when I live in Egypt
and I feel sad when I saw Egyptian talk more and more about proud , honor and glory but in real time we have nothing to proud
we are live worst age in history of Egypt under dictatorial rule and dont make any reaction against that
I think 5% or less try to change but most of people have more bad mannaers and talk more and more but in real low education and low ecnomy with bad life and no freedom so where is the best here ?

at the risk of sounding corny, home is where you feel you belong, where you feel you fit in, even if it's not the cleanest, nicest most beautiful place. I honestly only feel that in Egypt.
@Mero: well I can't disagree with what you have to say, but I'm talking from personal experience here. I've lived in 5 different countries and visited another 6 or 7, I honestly found I feel in peace with myself in Egypt. It has nothing to do with "patriotism" or "nationalism", it's personal experience which I'm sorry to say you got no right of attacking or disagreeing with coz as I said it's "personal". On the other hand, I actually agree with the atheist thing, if you don't believe in Islam don't stay a muslim, think about the other ways to go and maybe just maybe you might find your way back.

ya and not growing up here has got me to feel like no matter what, days and years will go by and I don't think I'll ever truly get the feeling of 'home sweet home' in any other country like I do in Egypt. i can't be shunning down on masr and hate it cause it's dirty, polluted, undeveloped or whatever, I love this country as a whole and to me it'll always be #1

at the risk of sounding corny, the universe is my home, i can re-attain my position anywhere in it
i cant hate nothing more than the so called nationalism & patriotism
@ Useph Abu el-lail : i think you're right, it's better to tell the truth even if it hurts than to live all your life pretending, & as a muslim, i think it's better to come out as an atheist than to live all your life pretending to be a muslim (nefaq)
