this question is the one of the questions i had on an IQ test and the only one i still remember so i wanted to see if you guys could help me solve it methodically.

I think i solved it but using trial and error not math

Anyways here goes as i recall:

The sum of 2 friend's age is 63

When person x was the age of person y, person x was twice as old as person y

That's basically it

I got x+y=63

and x' = y 'when' x' = 2y'

so i was stuck then tried it using trial and error

got 38 for one and 25 for the other

so sum = 63

and when x(38) was the age of y(25)

y was 12 years old....which is 25/2 (minus the fraction)

i have a 26 inch lcd tv with a 1366x768 native resolution

the exact resolution is not available in windows..nor ATI's CCC

i usually use the nearest available resolution which is 1360x768

It's almost always good enough

except when it comes to shogun 2

using most other resolutions yields much better font readability and graphics

compare SS1(1360x768) with SS2(Lower resolution yet much better)

distance between desktop and laptop ~3 meters in LoS

speed of the connection 54 mbps

yet filetransfer stuck at ~2 MB/s
