it a habit for people. maybe because their mommies kiss their fingers and now people suck it. yeah it hurts less because your putting pressure on it(?)

A guy first made up that suggested practice. His thought was that might help out with the ladies, ya know, sucking anything that has a woody nature. But seriously, unless you can suck a tennis ball through a garden hose, sucking a splinter is not going to extract it all by itself, but it will soften up the skin such that extraction with a pair of tweezers or other similar device will be easier. .

No instead of trying to get it out with your fingers people suck on the splinter to get it out and yes it works when I get splinters I suck it out of my skin then spit it out simple
