does our skin absorb water?

Each and every time i take a shower i have to pee afterwards..even if i had gone before the shower.

Only conclusion i thought of was that my skin absorbed the water..kinda silly but is it true?

I never heard of skin absorbing water. However I do think when you have a full blatter and your skin comes in contact with water it triggers something in your mind that makes you want to go to the bathroom. For example, how friends play pranks on their sleeping friends by putting their hand in water so they can wet the bed. Or how people say think about dry stuff when you have to pee. I think its a mental thing.

Well, your skin does absorb water (that's sometimes why you weigh more after you take a shower), but I don't believe it has anything to do with you wanting to pee.
