Does upgrading my car battery to higher AH hurt the alternator?

title

Something that I've heard from lots of people.

Saying that if a car for instance comes with a 44 amp H battery upgrading to 60 aH battery will hurt the alternator (some 90 amp one)

No, upgrading your battery will not hurt your alternator.

Upgrading your sound system or lighting can hurt your alternator if it draws too much amperage for the alternator to supply.

yes unless u add somthing that takes alot of power,, like a sub woffer,, the battery is made for the car and should not be alterd as they give it enough amps to power everything... if u get a battery that is a higher amp u could blow feuses and the altinator has electonics like diodes and when u add a higher batter it will induce power on the alternatr causing it to overcharge and blow itsself and damage the battery

A larger capacity will not harm the alternator, but why do you want one?
