Transfering apartment lease?
I would like to move out of the apartment I share, we have a 6 month lease which ends in December. I was told I could transfer my part of the lease to another apartment and find another roommate. My question is can I, do I have to have another co-signer( we had to for this place) and how would I go about this with my landlord if I can?

Never heard of that. Your lease is for that apartment. Your landlord will tell you to find someone to take your share of apartment 1 and the fill in an application for apartment 2. Yes you will need a cosigner

You could ASK. It's that easy. I would doubt they would let you transfer to another place without signing a new lease. If you had a cosigner 3 months ago, you need one now.
