  • Can you claim a hostile work environment when the owner of a family ran business gets drunk at the work place?

I work at a restaurant as a second job and was taken off the schedule after two things happened. One, I told the drunk owner to not speak to me because of how disrespectful she was being and to talk to the manager if she had to tell me something. Two, I give them my availability and they ignored it giving me hours I was unavailable to work. I have not made any formal complaints as it is a family ran business with the owners being husband and wife with their son as general manager. They haven t officially fired me, just took me off the schedule, in my opinion to avoid wrongful termination but I don t feel comfortable talking with any of them as they are only looking out for themselves.

  • Transfering apartment lease?

I would like to move out of the apartment I share, we have a 6 month lease which ends in December. I was told I could transfer my part of the lease to another apartment and find another roommate. My question is can I, do I have to have another co-signer( we had to for this place) and how would I go about this with my landlord if I can?

  • Reintroducing the breast after exclusivly pumping?

I have been exclusivly pumping since my daughter was about 3 days old and now she's a few days short of 4 months. I pump around the clock and feel like I don't get to spend enough time with her without a pump in our way. That's why I'm wondering if it's not to late to reintroduce the breast so we can get some more bonding time. I do work so I do know it will be challenging and I will still have to pump I just don't want to have to pump at 2 am after I feed her a bottle of breastmilk. Have I no hope or can I do this before she ends up on solids and doesn't need my milk?

  • One party trying to break the lease?

My boyfriend an I signed a 6 month lease July 1st and I want out of it. I'm not sure if he will stay at the apartment or not, I really don't care. I just want out, it's too much of a pain living with him. His grandmother is a co-signer and I don't want anything to reflect badly on her if I break my end. So how would I go about doing this and how much would it cost me?

  • Baby sleeping on my stomach?

My little one has no troubles falling asleep on my stomach and staying asleep there. I wanted to know if this is a bad habit and if I should just put her in her crib or swing. She never is put on her stomach to sleep in her crib but she does seem to stay asleep less than when she sleeps on my tummy. I know that much research is still needed for SIDS but would this increase her chances? I can easily feel her breathing and movements so I know she is ok.

  • Question about court date.?

My boyfriend was caught doing a doughnut in a Target parking lot. He has never recieved a ticket or any violation/been pulled over since he got his License 6 years ago. The ticket was for wreckless driving & exhibtion of speed. What should he plea guilty or not guilty or no contest? Should he get a public defender, take it to trial, or what? Since it happened on a Target parking lot wouldn't it be on private property and cops don't have jurisdiction there?

  • Do you scrapbook and if so when did you start?

I never really got into it because I thought it was more for older people, kids just usually throw them into an album and be done with it. That all changed for me when I finally went into a local scrapbook store, but being only 20 yrs old and everyone else older or a kid with their parent scrapper, made me feel like a guy at a quilting bee.

So I wanted to know when some other scrappers started doing more with their memories than slapping them into a photo album?

  • Do you ever look back and realize your life wasn't half bad?

I always grew up thinking I was being held back because of the way I was raised, a Jehovah's Witness. Having to skip holidays and having stricter rules to abide by than my peers and classmates.

Even though I'm not a practicing Jehovah's Witness, as an adult I realize it gave me morals and standards I still use today that have kept me out of trouble and harm's way.

I may not have gotten to go trick-or-treating or painted egg's for Easter as a child but in the end's i think it's worth it.
