Do you shave down there when you wear bike shorts?

Hair+sweat is a breeding ground for bacteria. Interested to know, and how you feel about it.

Like, shaving your legs used to be ridiculed but if you say "oh I'm a bike racer, I do it for aerodynamics/road rash, you get an out.

Hair prevents chaffing, pros shave their legs because it's easier to treat road rash and you get a better massage.

No. Hair down there actually serves to reduce friction. You shouldn't have any rash problems as long as you shower after your ride and wash your bike shorts.

    You are a germa-phobe? :-)

No, I shower... being sans natural down there would be very itchy, and would tend to create the condition that you fear. Besides, the idea of a razor even close to that part of my body, brings shivers to my very soul!
