Does an indoor/ outdoor cat likely to poo and pee outside the house?

because I haven't seen anything in his litter tray for almost 2 weeks but my cat is eating, playing and sleeping well. I'm worried and confused.

I have two indoor/outdoor cats and they rarely use their litter box in the 'nice' weather. We can go weeks without having to change their litter. The only reason it gets changed today is because one of the cats is quarantined to the house with a leg injury; otherwise, he'd be doing his business elsewhere.

See what occurs in case you get rid of the indoor muddle field. Cats frequently are very sparkling animals - and because they're used to the indoor field, this is the place they circulate. I actually have a narrative approximately an exterior cat who got here into my first floor flat to apply the muddle field!! so even exterior cats are sparkling, too. somebody else made a sturdy suggestion - take the particularly some grimy muddle and placed it exterior in the different area you have created for the cats and that they'll sniff that and started to apply that for their muddle field. as quickly as you get rid of the indoor muddle field, be certain that the cats are no longer beginning as much as circulate indoors. sturdy success!

Nah. I had an indoor/outdoor cat and after a year we didn't even bother cleaning out the litterbox since she would just poop outside somewhere and come in when she was done (cat flap).

The cat is clearly operating normally, so if the box is still clean, and you can't smell it in the house- clearly it prefers the open air box. So I wouldn't worry unless the behavior changed.

ask your neighbours, they're probably busy cleaning up after your cat.
