my laptop crashed and held my Itunes library on it so I have my parents old PC?
it has their old I tunes on it and I want to replace it with mine, but I can't sync it or I lose all my songs. How do I transfer my songs into the I tunes library without losing it all?

Basicly, iTunes stores all of your downloaded songs in a folder. That folder is on your old laptop. Unless you can access the hard drive through some os, you can't get the songs back. Try installing ubuntu to a flash stick and boot off of the flash stick and see if you can access the hard drive once you have logged into ubuntu on the flash stick. I am not responsible for whatever error you make. You should google it as well.

it wont help unless you have the original music files on the computer you are trying to sync to..either start a new music library, or pay someone to recover your hard drive if its possible..you sync to your parents computer, you are going to lose all your music off your iphone or ipod, whatever you are using.. you can keep the songs on your device, as long as, you just dont sync or update your device, until you restore your music library and are ready to wipe your device clean..if you want your music and videos doe a little while longer dont plug in....Dont Sync
