I'm a big fan of film scores, some of the best

Beyond Rangoon - Hans Zimmer (the title track Beyond Rangoon with windpipes etc is pretty

awesome)

Kundun score - Phillip Glass - this is real mediative music might be a bit dark and heavy though

The Hours - Phillip Glass really like this score but can sound quite sad

Casper - James Horner

Hook - John Williams

The Thin Red Line - Hans Zimmer

Edward Scissorhands - Danny Elfman - Ice Dance pure magic that track

The Fountain - Clint Mansell & Kronos Quartet

I don't necessarily like the movies they accompany (for example Hook & The Fountain are just downright terrible) However the orchestral scores are great stand alone experiences

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Soundtrack is very nice and relaxing...
