2 - 2x9 - 9, =
2 - 18 - 9, =
25.
Next one:
(5squared - 9x3)squared - 11
gives
(25 - 27) squared - 11, =
(-2) squared - 11, =
4 - 11, = -7
Last one
-5 + 1x3 - (7 - 2cubed)
gives
-5 + 3 - (7 - 8), =
-2 - (-1), =
-2 + 1, = -1
Everything in brackets must be worked out first:
6x(4-1) is 6x(3), which is 18 .......
whereas 6x4 - 1 is 24-1, which is 23
