Click the small icon to the left of the url (http://answers.yahoo.com)/ of Yahoo! Answers at the top of your web browser and drag and drop it on your desktop. In Windows 7, hit the Windows Key and the down arrow to minimize the browser window so you can see your desktop when dragging the icon to place it there.
