Well with one month to go in the regular baseball season ... How many games have you missed this year?

I have lost count of how many games I have missed. It is only going to get worse. =[.

This year I am going to say about almost half the season =[ I have missed of Yankees games because of work and trying to manage other things and also because of school =/ .

I have missed 1 game. I took at nap at 6 30 and set my alarm to 7, but I accidently set it to 7 AM. And ofcourse, it was the "imperfect game" this is a true story.

  • I've missed between 10-15 games. They were unavoidable, a few times I was in Minnesota and FSN plays Twins games. I instead watched the Twins and kept up with the Brewers on the computer.

I was also on the Wisconsin border a couple times, and they still played Twins games.

Several times I watch games at night after the fact at home when I have had things that I needed to do, but it's not really missing the game...because I can still tell you all about it the next day.

I was pretty annoyed I missed the games, but the Twins were a great replacement.

One day life will get less hectic for you and you will catch a lot of games again.

Depends what you mean by "missed."

If I watched three or four innings but then had to go do something, does that count as missing the game?

I've watched or listened to at least part of almost all of the Twins games this year. I've completely missed about 15 or 20. I'm a committed baseball fan, but I have a life too - I'm married, I go on vacations, etc.

There's no rule that says a baseball fan has to watch every single one of his/her team's games. In fact, that's the beauty of the 162 game season. If you miss a game, there'll be another one to watch the next day. And in the modern era of 24 hour news and the internet, you can always check the score and read about the game later.

I've missed a couple of games on TV because of errands and stuff, but I think it's only going to get worse this month because I'm at school and there's no YES Network here (plus ESPN and other things get blacked out a lot). I'll have to find scores on the Internet and then catch the Yankees in the postseason...

I've missed, oh... about all of them. :( I don't have cable or satellite, or even a radio, so the only baseball I can ever catch is whatever FOX is showing on Saturdays. Then I started work, and I ALWAYS work on Saturdays! And I have no way to record anything, and I can't watch them on my computer because I have dial-up. The reason I don't GET something to watch games is because, well, I have NO MONEY. So... yeah.

But, hey- at least I get to catch bits of games at work (I'm a busser at a restaraunt, and the pub has three TVs, so at night they often have games on ESPN playing).

At least I got to watch the All-Star Game!

...Well, most of it. Freakin' reception went out during whatever inning it was the NL scored, but it came back for the end!

Source(s): I have it rough! Well, not compared to like, Haitians or whatever, but you know what I mean...
  • I've think I missed like 7 games this season, I've tried to catch every game but for some reason, I can't watch west coast games. Mainly because It's a school night and Im not allowed to watch.

This summer I probably only missed a couple Twins games, but when school started, I missed like a week straight, so I'm trying to watch as many as I can.

  • I've probably missed 10-12, and I'm going to be missing the next two because of school :/ most of the games I've missed have been afternoon, because I had made plans with friends without checking the schedule. and since Thursday and Friday are both afternoon games, I'm going to be in school, so I'll miss most of those.

    Quite a few! :(

My school year and summer have been pretty busy. I also missed two weeks of baseball PERIOD when I was in England and Scotland. I've tried to make up for it by going to as many games at Target Field as I can!

does "missing" them count if i recorded them and watched later?

there have only been about 2-3 games i missed and didn't record. (today being one of them) i cant get to them when they are day games and friday night games i sometimes miss. but i usually always find a way to watch/listen

    Source(s): dodgers......maybe i should miss more games?
