Red cheeks, no fever?
My 3-month has had very red cheeks for the past few days. Not a rash and she doesn't have a fever. She's been a bit fussier than usual, but still seems to be feeling just fine. Any idea what could be causing her redness? It's cool in the house and she hasn't been out in the sun either.
Ugh, I was afraid someone would say rosacea. I have it, too.
Her cheeks are smooth - it's best described as flushed. Her face is a bit warm, too. I've checked for a fever literally five times today and her temp hasn't changed.

Could be teething, sometimes their cheeks get red from the gums swelling, or it could be if she drools alot and rubs her hands on her fash can cause a bit a rash from the drool drying on her face, my son used to get that all the time

Surely, she's too young for rosacea?
I was thinking more of a childhood illness, like 5th disease ("slapped cheek disease"). It is contagious, so if she attends daycare, you should take her to a doctor.

is the skin red and smooth, or red and rough/blotchy.. if its smooth it could be rosacea and if its rough it could be baby eczema (which my son has)
