Why do woman open their mouths while putting on mascara?

I heard somewhere that it is impossible not to! I think its just a reaction to what you are doing and may somehow help you concentrate. (:

I dunno, if i open my eyes while apply mascara it's because i'm tilting my head back but still trying to keep it low enough to see into the mirror, kind alike my forehead is going back but my chin is going down.

But i rarely have my mouth open while applying makeup, i usually pout while doing it, kinda like i'm gonna be kissing someone.

i dont do it persobnally but all my friends do ! i think its because its like you making a suprised face almost so it seperates your bottom and top eyelashes from eachother and gives you more length cause u can get rigth to the root of ur eyelash with the brush when ur eyes are widened. if that makes any sense :P haha anyways thats just my opinon :P
