WHAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE U.S. MILITARY PLANNERS' RESPONSE IF TERRORISTS EXPLODE A NUKE DEVICE ON US SOIL?

We have an national exercise, Ardent Sentry, that exercises a response to this scenario every year. I spent 7 years as a planner and participator in this exercise. The exact details of the response are classified. I can tell you however that their is a very comprehensive plan in place involving not only the military but almost every other government agency.

Do what the Israelis did at Munich, what the Russians did to their turn coats during the Cold War;

hunt them down, and clip them off one by one.

Were it an attack by another country, chances are we'd nuke them back. But since terrorists don't even have a nation, that would be out of the picture.

I think the US will respond with nukes. If the game escalates to nukes, there will be no more concern for civilian casualties. The US will prove to the terrorists the incredible foolishness of starting a game of nuclear hot potato with the US. If terrorists think Americans should blame our own government for terrorist attacks, the mutated Middle Easterners can blame terrorists for their flipper children.

With the Ayatollah Osama bin Obama as president a gold shrine celebrating the terrorists will be erected by illegal hispanic aliens at ground zero.

Obama's response would be to surrender to them and give in to their every demand.
