What sort of research topics can be found in the field of English?
For my Honors program, I'm eventually going to have to do a final research project, and it should be related to my major, English. I'm having trouble even thinking of topics. I was hoping for something that would be about either creative writing or literature, but to me, English has always been a hard area to find researchable questions in. Any suggestions?

The different types of Genre's , Compare and contrast the different authors styles, How has literature changed our lives, what would this world be like with no classic authors, neo classsical, Brit lit., Modernism how did these different types of literature fit into their time period.
These are just ideas, I am sure you can formulate them into something you can use.
