Question 2: If I get it in december when can I change the Jewelry?

Question 3: What kind of jewelry do you recommend I get when I first get it pierced?

Question 4:Do you have any suggestions on what kind of barbells I can change it to like pictures?

also how would I go about convincing my dad to let me get it??? And which side should I get it on?

    1. If you know it depends then how are we supposed to answer this? There is no answer to this question - it's different for everyone. I didn't find it to be that bad, some people have said it was the most painful thing ever.

    2. They take 6-9 months to completely heal, sometimes longer. The earliest you might be able to change it would be in June but that's only if it has healed all the way.

    3. Titanium, always.

    4. Plenty of body jewelry websites have a lot of different styles that you can pick from.

Get it on the side you don't sleep on.

    1. Like you said, it depends on your pain tolerance. However in my experience it was one of the more painful piercings. But I can't say if this will be the case for you.

    2. No sooner than June of the next year, but probably close to December of the next year. Industrial piercings take 6 months to a year to heal. You should not change the jewelry before the piercing is healed.

    3. I recommend you get a barbell as initial jewelry. While it is true that a set of rings will heal easier with fewer complications, you also run the risk of your piercings healing off alignment. This could make wearing a barbell painful or even impossible later on. The barbell is harder to heal, and tends to get irritated more often, however, your piercings will have no choice but to heal perfectly fitted to the barbell. It's your choice really, but rings are a risk.

    4. Make sure it's a good quality barbell and internally threaded if at all possible. But other than that, I really like the colored Titanium bars, bars with beads on them, and the bars with slave knockers (captive bead rings that screw onto the end of the bar).

To convince your dad, try doing some research on the procedure and presenting it to him in a mature manner. Also, try to act responsible for a couple of weeks before asking. Get it on whichever side you prefer, t doesn't matter.

1 - Considering it's two piercings in one session it'll probably be quite painful but won't take long to do.

2 - This depends on whether you have it done with one bar joining the two piercings or two separate piercings, but either way I wouldn't change the jewellery for at least 4 - 5 months.

3 - If you have one bar joining the two it will probably be best to have PTFE or bioplast jewellery, otherwise you should have titanium.

4 - You can find lots of interesting barbells for industrial piercings on websites such as www.bodyjewelleryshop.com www.wildcat.co.uk and even some body jewellery shops on Ebay.

Print off information about the piercing and show him you know what you're getting yourself in for (a long, long healing time) and know how to look after it (sea salt soaks and leaving the jewellery alone, not changing it too early etc). Otherwise perhaps try to earn it by doing chores around the house.

As for which side you get it it would be best to get it on the side you sleep on the least, or whichever you side you like best!

    1. The first hold will not hurt as bad as the second (most likely)

    2. I got mine in December and I can't couldn't change it until February 22. It takes 12 weeks .

    3. I recommend the long plastic retainer, it helps so much with cleaning and it helps with some of the irritation you'll get.

    4. I as of now and a cute gold arrow in mine .

(P.S. YOU HAVE HAVE HAVE TO CLEAN IT ) out of all my piercings my industrial is the hardest one to keep clean and away from infections (:

And just tell him you'll pay for it (it's roughly around 30-50 dollars. And that you'll clean it everyday and more than your supposed to . (:

    Hope I helped

while getting pierced, your physique kinda is going by a splash trauma and you will at times sense somewhat vulnerable or dizzy headed. So, once you gets pierced ascertain you have eaten a solid meal or 2 and drank diverse water that day. Sugar in an power drink is in basic terms going to make you crash...water is often maximum suitable. Ask your piercer any questions you have. He/she is there that should assist you and do a expert interest at piercing.
