Are you a fan of Natural or artificiall turf?
Well i played a soccer tournament a while back, mls futbolito 2010, and it was on artificial turf. First time playing. Playing on it is horrible. It burns my feet and i get burns when i fall. I thought the new chivas stadium was going to be natural grass.
What your take on this? Should all stadium use artificial turf?
Oh and we lost all our games in the tournament. :(

Here where I play these sonsofbitches are too poor to plant grass. I play in the moderfokkin dirt. They have a turf pitch but it costs 50 bucks to rent.

Artificial is stupid. The worst thing about it is that it does not give like natural grass does. The injury risk is a lot higher with artificial. You can destroy your ankles and ACL's if you make a bad cut. Just go out on both types of fields and try to make hard cuts in slow motion, you can seriously feel alot more stress on your legs with artificial. I played 15 years on natural grass and never got hurt once. But my third game ever on artificial I tore an ACL. I came back and kept playing on artificial and in 1 year i sprained both my ankles at least four times. Artificial grass just isnt as soft and it doesn't give at all. Artificial is pretty new so not too many studies have been done yet about injury yet but I'm betting that the figures will support what I'm talking about.

Natural grass is 10 times better. Of course indoor we play artificial so i dont mind it there but playing outdoor i do prefer grass. Only problem is that its expensive to keep it nice so there are usually very crappy fields.i think Vergara could eventually have to switch to natural because there have already been quite a few complaints and players get injured. Only one stadium in Mexico with artificial grass sooooo eventually i think he will have to put on real grass y que no mame just use the damn stadiums sponsor name money for the damn grass

I think all this complaining about artificial turf is stupid i mean emirates stadium use fake grass and besides when it's real grass it's usually in shitty conditions like the jalisco stadium.

Natural grass is the way to go. I find it weird that the theme behind OmniLife Stadium was to "go green," yet the whole area outside of it is real grass and the inside (the most important part) is not.

Natural is way better than artificial, I wonder if Chivas will ever adapt to the aritificial grass.

well natural is better but teams take advantage of artificiall grass. on the fresno team when i faced barkerfield they had an artificiall field, none on my teammates had ever played on it so we fell n slipped alot, we ended up tieng 2-2, but we could of won at least 5-0 if we had played on normal grass

i like artificial.... and it doesnt matter cuzz what vergara wants is money.... and natural turf take alot of dinero to keep it maintained.... artificial is expensive to install but it will save them money in the long run.

i like playing inside couse it makes me feel like a pro, but nothing beats the real open feild.
i think stadiums should stick with the real thing, but hey what do i know.

i like natural, on synthetic grass quando te barres te raspas el culo, and also like you mentioned it burns your feet, and me living in arizona that grass literally gives me blisters and stuff the first 20 mins of play. i prefer natural grass!
