Microsoft Access How Do I link the fields in an existing form to data in a new table?

I use Access 2003.

I have a custom contact manager that I created as a form in Access. I have the fields set up to conform to the fields in a standard comma delimited text file.

Unfortunately the data fields in the extenal text file have changed (i.e., field name and column position) and I no longer read the data into my Form.

I have tried to add new fields to the table linked to the form with no success.

I now think it best to just use the Form as a template and create a new table to conform to the new data layout of my external data.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten how to read the new data into my old contact manager form.

I know this is rather a basic question but I am working in the field right now and have little chance to read and study to find the answer to my problems.

Please help me and shed some light on my problem :)

Thank you

Jerry

Set the data you wish to link as a "Key Field". Then, open up the Relationships utility and just draw lines from one field in a table to another in another table.
