Any recipes using cake that didn't turn out right?

My sister baked a cake that turn out wrong. It's a heavy cake and not fluffy and spongy. I hope you know what I mean....

What can I make out of it??

    Make it into cake balls, if you have never tried them....everyone loves them! A great way to use up cake scraps or cake mishaps.

    Cake Balls

    "Mix and match cake and icing flavors as well as the chocolate coatings. If you like you can just sprinkle with powdered sugar or roll in granulated sugar in place of the coating. The variations are unlimited, and they can be nicely packaged and given as gifts. "

    Ingredients:

    1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake

    mix

    1 (16 ounce) container prepared

    chocolate frosting

    1 (3 ounce) bar chocolate flavored

    confectioners coating

    Directions:

    1. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions using any of the recommended pan sizes. When cake is done, crumble while warm into a large bowl, and stir in the frosting until well blended.

    2. Melt chocolate coating in a glass bowl in the microwave, or in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.

    crumble and stash in zip lock bag in freezer.

    layer it with custard and whipped cream for heavenly dessert in those special dishes!

    add butter and press it into bottom of spring form pan and put custard on top

    or put cheese cake batter on and bake

    add butter and brown sugar, sprinkle on top of sliced fruit to make into dessert casserole spices to match fruit

    use as topping on any fruit crumble recipe

    add butter and spread on cookie sheet to dry in oven. Add to GORP or trail mix
