What to do with my money?

I'm under 16 and have 3k. I'm not sure where to put it. It's currently in a bank as my last CD expired. I dont need it for 2 years. Banks suck for interest so what's a good place to put it. Suggestions?

In today's environment you really don't have a lot of choices. I assume this is money to be used towards college. As the need is only two years away you really can't invest it in stocks or mutual funds as that is not a long enough period of time to ride the ups and downs. I suggest a bank or CD where you cn get the highest interest rate you can find. Good luck.

You could buy a mutual fund through Vanguard. The lowest amount is $3,000.00.
