Youtube Partnership: What is considered copywright?
im looking to start a youtube channel and hopefuly become partnered, but i understand that you get disqualified from the program if you have copyrighted material. i was just wondering though, what exactly is considered copyright? i know that music and video is prohibited, but if i were to get a picture from google images and use it in my videos, is that allowed? the reason i ask i because i see a lot of people (like WHATTHEBUCK) using images of famous people in their videos as they talk about them.

I applied for YouTube Partnership, and they told me the same thing. I guess you can use google pictures to add in your videos. Everybody does it these days whether you're a YouTube partner or not.
Don't fret, they wouldn't mind if you do that. I did once, and they never did anything. They only get you disqualified when you make music videos that are copyrighted, or copyrighted videos.
