Iranian problem.... answers please?

What are your comments on the Iranian Women who was sentenced to death,by stoning and now changed to a whipping... for not wearing a headscarf, and then more was added to Adultery. I think these people still live in the dark ages, and no wonder it has now involved the rest of the World. It would be interesting to know what the man involved, if it happened ? what happens to him.. ? Is it no wonder that a lot of these people try to escape this tyranny by moving to other Countries, where at least they are free from all of this medieval tripe. They treat women like dirt, and also think they are Baby machines, to turn children out one after the other, with no thought of how they are going to feed them, or bring them up. Do you wonder that so much poverty rages in these Eastern Countries, where life to them means nothing, but wielding a gun about is everything. It is time these people picked themselves up and look towards a better way of life, but also set about changing the whole structure of life where they live, otherwise this way of living will continue into the next Century.

Many of the problems associated with underdevelopment in the world are linked to high population growth rates. For every minute that passes 300 babies are born in the world and 132 people die. This means that in the last minute 168 new people were added to the world's population. When you work out his figure for days, months and years, you will find that an additional quarter of a million people are added to the world's population every day and about 90 million people are added to the world each year. (these figures were true for 1996, they will be higher now) If the worlds' population continues to grow at this rate, it is unlikely that there will be enough food, water and living space for all of us in the future. Unmanaged population growth can lead to disaster for the world. Apart from food shortages, population growth also puts incredible additional pressure on the environment in the form of pollution, deforestation and the use of natural resources like water and coal. Population growth has been far higher in the developing world than in the developed world, so that countries that are already struggling to look after large percentages of poor people are having a rapid increase in population.

I personally can not imagine anyone being stoned to death It is beyond my ability to comprehend such brutality by anyone .Will she be whipped to death instead? This is vile and heinous.

They DO live in the Dark Ages, as all adherents of Shariah do. As for the man involved, that's the beauty of Islamic culture, if there is a problem with a man and a woman, it's ALWAYS the woman's fault. There is nothing in the Quran to that effect, but that's the way it is. In the West, it's true to say that women are not treated equally in general, but in the eyes of the law, they most certainly are. Not so in Islamic countries.

Iran is living in the 19th Century. The Shah gave the Iranians money, security and women were educated. The Ayatollahs have brought Iran to the Stone Ages.
