My best friend told me that I suck sometimes because of my lateness?
So I almost always run late. It's something I have been trying to work on.
So the other day, I was running late to go pick her up. I was running 30 minutes late, so I told her that I would be at her house at 12 instead of 11:30 because I woke up late.
This was the text conversation
Me: I will be there soon
Her: How soon?
Me: Like 12 soon
Her: Ugh...... You suck sometimes
Her: See you at 12
Me: Why do I suck?
Her: You're almost always late
Me: I'm sorry.
Her: Please work on your timeliness
Me: I have been
Her: And your communication. Like don't wait until you are ready to ask your parents for a ride.
(I have been lazy on getting my license)
Me: My mom is just about ready. Be there shortly
Soo.. It kind of hurt my feelings that she said I suck. I don't know. I'm a pretty good friend and I really am working on my punctuality. At first I thought she was joking, but she wasn't..
