Was the sacrifice of Christ really necessary?
For 4000 years after Adam, people were free to obey or not obey God, to follow the rules or break them, etc. (and the tradition still continues with Jews now). Why, all of a sudden, sending Jesus on earth became essential for our salvation? Was it supposed to happen just to fulfil the prophecies? or was it really necessary?

No. It was absolutely unnecessary.
However, it progressed the democratization of Judaism.

Were they "free to obey or not obey"? They all died, and that is the wages of sin.
Romans 6:23 For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
The man Job expressed a hope that he had, and this was some 15 to 17 centuries before Christ gave his life.
(Job 14:14-15)
14 If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?
All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, Until my relief comes.
15 You will call, and I myself shall answer you.
For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.
Men of faith long before Christ came, had that hope of a coming resurrection. They understood what Job said, that God has a yearning for his creatures. He did not design humans to have short lives and to live in misery, dying usually a painful death.
And if you go back to the Garden of Eden and read what God said there, you will see that it wasn't "all of a sudden".
(Genesis 3:15) 15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.”
Jehovah told Satan that He was starting a process to bring about Satan's destruction and removal of all the damage that he caused mankind.
Paul speaks of the ransom that Christ became.
(1 Timothy 2:3-6) 3 This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, 4 whose will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—[this is] what is to be witnessed to at its own particular times.
Notice, that ransom was for "all sorts of men". This includes all those who have died due the sin of Adam, from Abel down to the people that we see listed in paper each day.
Check the link below. It will help you to understand what the ransom does for us, and why "all of a sudden" Christ became so important in God's purpose to restore mankind.

Yes, the sacrifice of Christ was really necessary. It was more than just about following or breaking rules, following or breaking tradition.................
God went beyond all that....waaaaaay beyond that (intentionally) and decided out of love, to pay for the very concept of SIN with his very life. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
All we do is trust that payment today, and we will be in heaven forever.....because...our sinfulness is paid off!
We still sin, but in the eyes and in the mind of God, we are on God's account now...seen as flawless by him, but imperfect by man.

by way of fact in case you do not have self assurance in Christ why would you like to be in heaven able the place every person is going to be worshiping Him continually? the only thank you to get into Heaven is to realize which you're a sinner and that without God you're destined for Hell. and then ask Christ to return into your heart and take over your existence. Being a Christian would not recommend which you will not make blunders nevertheless. maximum human beings make exciting human beings Christians while we make blunders, yet we are nonetheless people who have been born with a sin nature. yet fortuitously God is a gracious and merciful God who supply a great form of 2d possibilities. i desire which you re-examine your view on God by way of fact i've got self assurance that the top is insanely close to! i desire this helped you out slightly.

god is a just god requiring that justice be met,we were sentenced to death for the disobedience of god in eating the forbidden fruit..this learning the difference between good and evil, bringing about the yen/yan effect..this comparative ability provided that we could do wrong all the while knowing its wrong..you cant pay a debt with a debt..absolute good requires absolute innocence.the life is in the blood, due to yen/yan we don't have it within us to pay the debt and bring about justice...we used to sacrifice animals, because of their innocence in not knowing right from wrong, its still done today in kosher where the animals are blessed ( sacrificed )as atonement for all the people instead of each man bringing an animal..that system was replaced with a new covenant, when jesus came down, lived a perfect innocent life and gave his blood for all who believe and come to him

The animal blood sacrifices of the OT were a foreshadowing of what God planned to do in Christ who became the Lamb of God who was slain for our sins [Jn 1:29].
God needed to satisfy perfect justice and at the same time demonstrate perfect love. Could God have used some other method to forgive us? Perhaps. But, he chose to use a method that required a demonstration of His perfect sacrificial love for us. And, at the same time it shows us the price of our sins, that is suffering and death; but also God's mercy towards us, for willing to suffer and die on our behalf.

For 4000 years after Adam people died, but where did they go? They couldn't have went to heaven. Heaven is like a pure glass of water and to let anyone in, who even sinned even one time would contaminate all of heaven. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus was the only one who lived a sin free life and paved the way for everyone to enter into heaven. People from the past and future. Everyone who thinks they can get into heaven by being "good" is sadly, sadly mistaken. We have to realize our good is like filthy rags to God and it is only by God's grace that we may enter into heaven. This has always been the truth, even from the beginning.
No, it wasn't necessary that God come to earth in our image to save us. He didn't have to do it. He had a choice just as we have. He chose to do it with the main motivation being love.

No person was able to perfectly fulfill the Law between the time of Moses and the time of Christ, so it became necessary for Christ to offer a perfect sacrifice.

Yes, There had to be a new creation within us. The soul that is saved, repents, believes, and serves the Lord; but, in the beginning, God chose us in Christ (Eph.1:4), and now, "we love Him, because He first loved us." There had to be someone to take our place. God chose His Son. That is amazing
God is forever

with out Jesus man would not be saved, Jewish people do not believe Jesus was the son of God, but the bible goes on to say they will fall to their knees and profess Jesus as the savior of man before the end

if you look at the true Jewish faith they all needed to constantly sacrifice animals or other goods to be forgiven for wrong doing and that is why Jesus is called "the lamb of god". it is so we do not need to be going to the temple and doing sacrifice for being sins.
