could i still be pregnant?
My period was supposed to be here on august 23rd and I still have not gotten it. It usually lasts about a week and kinda heavy. I did not get one at all. I've had some cramping and nausea but nothing much else. I took a test 2 days ago and it was negative. The only other symptom I have since then is that my nipples are sore but not my whole breast. I don't know what to think. Any opinions?
I also had a gyno appt on the 26th of august where he took a urine test and said it was negative and just left it at that no blood test or anything.
For the past 4 months my periods have either started into the 20th of each month or the 23rd all periods before the last 4 months were all wacky because I was on the depo birth control shot.

Honestly I think you are pregnant but you took an HPT that had to high of the pregnancy hormone HCG which you are probably not up to yet. Try an early detection test. It really sounds like you could be pregnant.
EDIT: So you didn't have a blood test done? You really should have since your period is more than 7 days late. I would go back for a blood test. At least then if you are not pregnant, your Dr. can investigate other reasons why your period has not shown up. I wonder why they didn't want to do a blood test with a late period?

You didn't mention whether your period is always on time or not. If it is I would have to say yes, I think you could be pregnant. the other thing to consider however is stress levels. They can throw off your entire system and make your period late.
