Should Ken Niumatalolo be punished for getting into the face of the referee at halftime?

He went after the referee instead of going into the locker room and poked the official in the face with his visor.

The coach is supposed to argue and be emotional, but making contact with an official is uncalled for.

Update:

Bad - He's the coach for Navy, not in the NFL. But you're right that NCAA rule 9-2-4 says 15 yards and ejection for intentionally contacting an official during the game.

You know the rules. Physical contact with an official is illegal and subject to a 15 yard penalty and ejection plus a reprimand/fine for violating NFL conduct rules.

Bad error. Actually knew that. Trying to do three things at once. Conferences have rules covering that but that doesn't apply to Navy. Unaware if NCAA has a rule covering that. If it does, never heard of it being used.

Yes he should be punish. A player should touch the ref at off unless its an accident. Fine him now!
