Prepaid phone and call forwarding?

I'll give you the background first...

Where I work, the managers will call people on the weekends for stupid things that don't require a 1-hour drive to the plant to do something simple. But, they do it anyway. Sometimes, if you answer and aren't really needed, you'll get reeled in to coming into work. Other times, they'll call a couple times if you really are needed. I'm on salary and don't feel like making 5-hour drives from wherever I am to work on a Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

I have a cell phone with a regular contract (Verizon) and all the works on the plan, but I refuse to give my cell phone number to work, since I'd have to start ignoring numbers I didn't know (I also give my number out to people I meet when I'm out places, so I'd have to ignore those too, for fear of it being work calling).

They demanded phone numbers today at work, so rather than give my personal number away, I bought a Samsung Tracfone for $10 at Wal-Mart that comes with 10 minutes, good for 60 days. This will be a work-only phone, and all I really need is to call back the number (obviously blocked) from my personal cell phone.

So rather than drag the phone around with me all weekend, is there any way to forward the calls to my personal cell phone that could be identified by the number of the Tracfone? As in, someone would call the prepaid phone and the prepaid phone number would show up on my personal cell phone?

In england we can change our voice mail number, i tried it the other day, i cant get calls from them directly to my other number but i can get voice mail messages. So if you can get away with voice mail calls being forwarded to your other phone that could work. You just go into your phone settings and change your voice mail messaging number to your other cell number. But this means that the private fone wont be able to receive voice mail messages. Unless you keep changing the numbers.

I hope this helps you. xxx

Well as the person who called ur friend would pay the fee...but beware, I don't know if it's the same in the US but here in the UK the person who does the forwarding get a pretty big charge too... Check with ur supplier!
