Why are whıte people so obsessed with race?

I’m white and I’m not obsessed with race.

Most people I know care about race in general, care about racism in general, etc, but it’s not an obsession from anyone I’ve ever met personally.

Thus, I find your question to involve a false premise. Or at least an unjustified premise.

I think you’re taking a few extreme examples and generalizing them to include many more people that don’t belong in that generalization.

Well you should stop laughing because it's you that seems "obsessed" to me. Americans in general are obsessed with race.

It is very important that whites are obsessed or atleast concerned with race. If they aren't, they may possibly walk into a non-white neighborhood and get shot or mugged. Whites must watch out unless they are in a Asian or another white neighborhood. Whites are safe around other whites but often not around other enthnic areas especially black ones.. Blacks are even safe in black areas. That is sad.
