    Think of arrows or darts hitting a target. If you get a whole bunch of arrows hitting the same spot on the target, that's precision. If you get a whole bunch of arrows hitting the bullseye, that's accuracy. So, an accurate measurement would be close to the right answer, and precise measurements would be close to the other measurements taken. What you hope for, in science, is to have both accurate and precise measurements. I hope that makes sense to you!
