Can you give blood after having a fusion?

I just had a cervical fusion and was wondering if I will be able to donate my blood again? I had ground up cadaver bone used in my fusion.

The use of any human tissue requires a one year deferral from time of surgery, per FDA guidelines.

Hope everything heals well, and thanks for being a volunteer blood donor.
