Why are Muslim silence on Justice?
This is an article published to the editor to the OC Register newspaper, Ca. USA, Sept 60, 2010
Dear Mr. Hussam Ayloush of the Council of American-Islamic Relations. You accuse me
and many other Americans of being ignorantly unaware of your social plight as a Muslim.
Here is what I am aware of your silence.
Where were your indignant voices of protest when the USS Cole as attacked by the Muslim? Or, on 9/11, when the World Trade Center came down? Or as this national graveyard lay broken and smoldering; words of protest when scenes of wild jubilation in the streets of Muslim nations appeared on millions of television screens across the world?
Or, the Fatwas issued against Salman Rushdie and the Danish cartoonist (or any other “infidel” as defined by your religious leaders)? Where are you words of shame when Muslim families send their young people, with explosives strapped to their bodies, into throngs of innocent unsuspecting people? Or, the practice of “honor killings,” of one’s own daughters? Or, the stoning perceived offenders as we have today
Though Muslims have been strangely silent these past 10 years on these issues, they haven been idle. They’ve been busy becoming bullies a UC Irvine and other venues around Orange County, including intolerance evident by rude behavior toward and invited, honorable speaker on campus. This incident, coupled with numerous complaints of abuse toward other Jewish students, do not enhance your image. No, I am not Jewish. I also am not blind or deaf. Muslims have told us who they really are.
It is no wonder that I, and a majority of Americans ( consult many polls on this subject ), objest to the proposed Mosque as near the virtual graveyard of thousands of our fellow Americans. We are aware of your ethnic pride in erecting structures, symbolic or your religion, on or near the site of what you consider as “conquered” territory. Not this time, sir. We will resist you every step ot the Way.
Signed; Marjorie A. Hoover
Huntington Beach.

.....................................Sura (8:55) - Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve
Sura (48:29) - Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves
Sura (9:30) - And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah... Allah (Himself) fights against them. How perverse are they!
Sura (8:12) - I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them
Sura (9:123) - O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness
Sura (5:33) - The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement..........
Are you a disbeliever ?
The Koran follows the footsteps of Muhammad; when Muhammad was weak, starting his cult his "revelations" were revelations of tolerance and peace. When Muhammad became strong his "revelations were of war, killing and subjugation.
The same thing is happening in countries now invaded by Muslims; at first they are meek clamoring for peace and understanding, if they become strong they clamor for blood and subjugation.
Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me! How many times will you be fooled by a religious ideology?

I agree with your beginning point, and have also posted points about the complacency of mainstream Muslims. They sit idly by as their fellow extremist Muslims, kill innocents praying in Mosques, just recently children at a school in Pakistan, where are the protest over that, but you guys go crazy in the street over a cartoon,or a small book burning. Although I find the location of their proposed Mosque in bad taste,as far as the constitution they have every right to build it,so we can not be hypocritical,no matter what the circumstances,or we become like the radicals.

Hazrat Mohammed made the Islam so fortified like a bottle covered with upside-down funnel. Every once go into islam, but it is very difficult to come out. His mind and soul is hypnotised. Their ear and eyes are blocked or so control that they cannot hear or see what is swcientific or true. For such people JUSTICE is far from mind. See the History what Central Asians after Hazrt Mohmmed given to the world- Just Terrorism, Blood and Rapes.

Did you even bother to do any research to see of there was condemnation on the part of prominent Muslims in response to the Cole and other events mentioned in the article? Or are you simple relying on her recollections and assuming that her perceptions are correct?
The idea that Muslims have been silent for 10 years is a myth (AKA a lie), a talking point perpetuated by the right. Marjorie's letter is based on ignorance, a shallow regurgitation of what she has been hearing in conservative media but what she obviously hasn't bothered to research for herself.

How can we talk about justice when there is no justice left among Muslim nations. You had killed our Two Witnesses, who brought justice and light to the world.
You had taken away our our values and gave yours instead.
The fact that most of the Muslim countries are poor and corrupted and did not practise Islam on a community level was the result of Western Imperialism. Colonial masters had taken away the spirit of Islam, imposed Western education onto the masses, producing people of Muslim skin over a ravenous wolf.

Are you sure? Whenever I see Muslims supporting the GZ mosque, the imam, his wife, his supporters, they all continuously state that it was not Islam which brought down those towers, but terrorists who distorted religion to justify their own sick-minded hatred for America.
Here are famous Muslims who condemn the act:
"Hijacking Planes, terrorizing innocent people and shedding blood constitute a form of injustice that can not be tolerated by Islam, which views them as gross crimes and sinful acts."
Shaykh Abdul Aziz al-Ashaikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Senior Ulama, on September 15th, 2001
"The terrorists acts, from the perspective of Islamic law, constitute the crime of hirabah (waging war against society)."
September 27, 2001 - Fatwa, signed by:
Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Grand Islamic Scholar and Chairman of the Sunna and Sira Countil, Qatar
Judge Tariq al-Bishri, First Deputy President of the Council d'etat, Egypt
Dr. Muhammad s. al-Awa, Professor of Islamic Law and Shari'a, Egypt
Dr. Haytham al-Khayyat, Islamic scholar, Syria
Fahmi Houaydi, Islamic scholar, Syria
Shaykh Taha Jabir al-Alwani, Chairman, North America High Council
"Neither the law of Islam nor its ethical system justify such a crime."
Zaki Badawi, Principal of the Muslim College in London. Cited in Arab News, September 28, 2001.
"It is wrong to kill innocent people. It is also wrong to praise those who kill innocent people."
Mufti Nizamuddin Shamzai, Pakistan. Cited in the New York Times, September 28, 2001.
"What these people stand for is completely against all the principles that Arab Muslims believe in."
King Abdullah II, of Jordan; cited in the Middle East Times, September 28, 2001.
The above statements by high ranking international Muslim scholars and leaders appeared in an advertisement placed by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, in the New York Times, October 17th, 2001 (p. A 17)
"I'm a Muslim. I've been a Muslim for 20 years. I want the world to know the truth about Islam. I wouldn't be here to represent Islam if it were the way the terrorists make it look...Islam is for peace."
Former World Heavyweight boxing champion, Muhammad Ali, at the telethon benefit concert, September 21, 2001.
"Those terrorists must be reading a completely different Quran than the rest of us. This isn't about Islam. It's about terrorism."
US Marine Corps Captain Aisha Bakkar-Poe.
"Terrorists claiming to act in the name of Islam is like a knife through my heart - that people would practice Islam, but do deeds like what they've done. It's not true faith. Some people twist religion to the way they think."
US Army Captain Arneshuia Balial, a convert to Islam since 1987.

Actually there are muslims and muslim organizations that voice there disapproval of jihad and religious extremism. you just don't see them on tv. in addition, there are muslims all over the world that work in the government and police to protect people from islamic terrorists. there are also religious organizations that work to counter the influence of extremist jihadist islam from spreading in countries. the problem is you can't seem to accept that muslims are just like an other religious group of people. they have varying political views and personal views of each individuals will differ. also, a large chunk of muslims still have to live in societies where they are not allowed to express their views, so they have no choice.

Nice try. You edit a book from 1981 to put 9/11. You are hater of Islam you bastard.

ok im not from the us..but from what i have read the man who wants to build the mosque...near the site of 9/1`1 is one of the most vociferous opponents of muslim fundamentalism...go figure.. maybe the silence is not everywhere. i was born a catholic in ireland. the catholic church has fundamentally aided child abuse for their clergy and covered it up for decades. this goes right up to the pope... they are still covering and abusing...

My understanding is this: Moderate Muslims are silent on the actions of Radical Muslims because Radicals Muslims have the Qur'an to back them up. The peaceful verses in the Qur'an have been abrogated by the more violent and intolerant verses. This is why Moderate Muslims have to be silent to Radical Muslims, because Radical Muslims have the Qur'an on their side.
