9 months preg significant blood in stoole is this normal?

I didn't think I was constipated but when I went to whipe there was blood on the tissue and in the toilet. I don't think it was coming from anything other then my rectum. Should I be concerned?

Do you have hemorrhoids? that can cause some blood in stool; were you pressing really hard? If it was more than a little bit, I would be concerned, you said significant so I would call your doctor.

When I was about 9 months, I experienced what you were feeling too. I had blood in my stool too, and I called my doctor and he told me that, it was normal, and that if it was becoming a heavy flow, that I should go to the hospital RIGHT AWAY!! Good luck!

Concerned? Maybe. You'll probably want to call your doc's answering service and let them know what happened. They will be able to tell you some better information than you'll find here.

It could be something as simple as bleeding hemorrhoids, but it could also be something a wee bit more serious. Let your doc be the judge on this one.

    Good luck.

You probably was just constipated and while you was pushing you could have just ripped something a lil bit. Don't sound major or nothing to be alarmed about.
