All Blacks. My opinion. What u think?

I have seen enough of Cruden to know that he will not be the backup to Carter. Colin Slade has a much more developed game and has a great oppurtunity with Otago to push his claim further.

I would love to see Cruden play halfback, his allround skills and running game can be well used at 9 where tactical kicking is not as crucial it would also give us a emergency 10 and free up another spot for fringe players to be given a go on tour. Fruean Savea SBW

I am very angry with Henry for playing Dagg on the wing. I feel he will ruin his natural fullback instinct if he has to learn a new position. Ranger is a winger he should have started in that position.

Corey Flynn should not be in the squad, Demalmunch has much more potential and strength around the paddock, but was left out for his throwing, which Flynn showed he cannot do well either.

Hore and Mealamu should be the main hookers and Afoa should be backup as it will free up a spot on tour for a luxury like Fruean or Sonnybill Williams rather than a third specialist hooker who realisticly will only play cameos of 10 minutes max if at all.

Guys like McAlister Donald Tialata should be put out of contention now and concentrate on the future. Id hate to see McAlister get a spot on tour in place of some1 like Slade SBW Fruean

Cruden, is the IRB Junior Player of the Year 2009 and the captain of the NZ team that won the IRB Juniors World Championship in Japan 2009. The boy is obviously very talented given his achievements. But you will never realise a talent unless you try him. In the weekend, Henry did, obviously we've seen the results, he still needs a lot of work before he can be elevated as a genuine prospect to backing up Carter. His kick restarts were not pin point accuracy, he missed a penalty touch finder which was probably the last straw for Henry and decided to pull him off close to the 60th min mark. For me personally, I think they elevated him too fast to this all blacks environment with only one super 14 season behind him. His defense is still a little suspect. I believe his best rugby years are still ahead of him though. I'm just happy they got to play him and Slade and have seen what either play can do. Its quite telling really that Slade is the better prospect of the two as cover for Carter. Its awesome to see him move to otago to get more game time and proove his case to the all blacks selectors. If you say he be better at halfback, he has to simply be ahead of Cowan and Weepu, not to forget Mathewson who played unbelievably well this year for the blues and only managed to make the all blacks this year with one appearance as a Cowan injury cover.

Im sure Dagg didn't mind playing wing, I mean would you rather sit on the bench watching then grabbing any opportunity you're given to get as much game time out of the all blacks jersey as you possibly can? I doubt any all black would get selected and say, no, give it to him since I'm a fullback. I'm sure you'd take any opportunity you'd given, and probably learn a few things being a winger too... rather than just being a one dimensional player.

See this is the problem with some fringe all black players, they get given a second chance to proove their worth. In cory's case, he showed time and time again in the weekend the reasons why he has never been a consistent all black hooker. His thowing was appalling. If I was Cory Flynn, I'd seriously be considering my options overseas now because quite frankly, I can't see him being in the all blacks framework again. That opportunity should be given to other hookers now.

Ofcourse Hore and Mealamu are the main hookers, the only reason Hore is not there is because of shoulder injury sustained in the super 14 semis against the waratahs.

I have to agree with you, ever since McAlister came back from england, he has never looked like the all black McAlister that left. No more Tialata, that kid has received so many chances in the all blacks jersey, yet his side of scrum is still a problem when he plays, not to mention his fitness is not up to standard given the new way rugby is playing nowadays. Donald, received ample all black 10 game time last year, showed nothing to make me think he is a genuine carter cover.

Yes, take Fruean, take slade, and yes take SBW....

But do you think Graham Henry will even bother adjusting his team now? I don't think so but your opinion is a good prospect, I guess. But I don't care much about rugby after the All Whites' stunning performance at the WC. I watch soccer now.
