My face wasn't on the seat. I was driving my sister and her friend around and her friend had eyeliner in her purse which got on the seat.

Scrub the area with a little water (or club soda) and shaving cream. Any brand of shaving cream works as long as it's white shaving cream.
Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses easily. The last thing you want to use on a car seat is soap that doesn't rinse out easily.
After scrubbing, blot, blot, blot -- first with a clean wet rag, and then with a clean dry rag.

First reaction, what the hell is your face doing on the seat? Must have been uncomfortable.
