'Heroes' Finally Defeated by NBC
"Heroes" was officially canceled in May, but there was some talk from the show's creator, Tim Kring, about a possible TV movie to give fans some closure with their favorite characters and story lines. At the end of the final season, the indestructible Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere) revealed her superpowers to the world during a live TV broadcast. Kring had hoped to make that the plot of the TV movie.
Guess NBC won't be my network of choice this season - apparently what the viewers want has no affect on their programming or plans.
Any other opinions?

I don't think that its fair that it has been cancelled.I thought that season 4 was a great story and was better than the previous volume. I think its also stupid they leftt it on a massive cliffhanger and then told the viewers "to be contiued... why do that when they were thinking of cancelling it!
I for one will not be watching any of the new shows from nbc over here in the uk! they have lost a good fan on nbc and I really hope heroes is concluded in some way :(
:( not fair!

I never expected to see a Heroes tv movie so I wasn't surprised at all. Heroes episode production has always been costly and with the budget cuts going on right now, no way was that movie happening. I would expect Kring to wrap up characters/storylines by way of graphic novel instead.

It all about viewership. Their storyline was going down the last two seasons and people started falling off. When no one is watching they cancel the show.
