I really enjoyed playing rdr and was hoping there will be more of them. anybody know?

I certainly hope so, and I would guess yes since the game sold $5 Million in it's 1st week!!!!! That's major and one thing these game companies like is $$$, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
Rockstar is working on L.A. Noire 1st, then Agent and then HOPEFULLY GTA5.

Considering Red Dead Redemption is a sequel itself (Red Dead Revolver was released a few years ago), it's likely there will be another one. Also, it sold really well. I doubt the publishers would ignore that.

not for a while they are making the new GTA over next year or so
Expect another red dead in 2 years time
