how to clean just installed ceramic tile?

Before you try and clean with water, you "dust" it off dry. Use a clean terri clothe towel to buff it off.

By introducing more water before its fully cured can lead to weakened grout and some times you can actually take colorant out of the grout.

If this doesn t get it off, you can get a white nylon scrub pad made especially for doing this.

You don t want to do water 1st because any grout haze that comes off, your reintroducing it right back onto the tiles.

I have to agree with the other answers here. Clean the excess grout off using lots of water and a grout sponge that you can get at any home improvement store. If you install tile again you actually want to clean virtually all of the excess grout off, carefully, before the grout sets. All that should be left after the installation is a thin film on the tiles that can be buffed off using a clean cloth or sponge.

I used a BIG sponge with lots of clean water. It will shine. Just keep washing it until u get all the grime off. It is very easy. The one thing I would do is get the sponge at a paint store. They will give u the right one.But u do have to get down on your knees to do it.
