That's what you get when you insist on mass literacy and then give people the opportunity to converse through instant messaging. As in the spoken language, speed is key, meaning that only what is needed to convey the meaning is included to allow for rapid communication. Technology makes us stupid. You have little choice but to live with it.

I think it all began when teens started to text differently to not pay as much for typing full words. Maybe some kids thought typing wrong was just the new style so they started to do that. I'm not sure.

And I've noticed as time passes, typing wrong is getting worse and worse. Teens are even using numbers and symbols as words. 0_0

here in my country they call them jejemons.

Jejemons are people who used punctiation, syntax, and changing the spelling of words whenever they type. They called it jejetyping.

and not only kids do this , some of adult onliners and texters too,,

the sad part is some people are just using them as an excuse to spell the words right..

Because most kids these days are retared because of the failing school system not reaching out to those students who "dont give a ****"

Because of texting and taking short cut's, like "brb" instead of "be right back". But not all kids are like that, I am 13, and I think its very important to spell right and capitalize.

Texting and computer shortcuts. Kids use that these days. They would write "lol omg ikr watz up w/ that ha ha lmfao" and its like hip or something.
