For everyone who uses Tumblr, what's your criteria for following people?

I'd take a look at yours now, but my computer is being ridiculously slow

Basically, I'll follow people on tumblr if they do one, or both, of these things:

1) Inspire/interest me.

2) Make me laugh.

I do tend to look for people with the same interests as me, that is, interests in things like Harry Potter, photography, Supernatural, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, books... etc, etc.

I don't find the people I follow through recommendations. Usually, I check out people who are following me - and I tend to add them as well, because more than likely, I love their tumblrs. I also add a few peoole who's posts are frequently reblogged by the people I follow.

I don't follow anyone.

I will look at someone's page if I have reason to, and I will look at yours, but I have no interest in 'following' someone. I'm not on Tumblr enough to read in-depth what people have written and/or to look at their pictures.

I created my page because I was recommended so. I have it for my own purpose, that I can spill my feelings out on there, and I don't really care if other people do or don't think it's good. I'm happy to have followers, but it's not the reason I made it.

I follow people who don't just have text on their blogs. That's boring. Some it's ok because it makes you look like you have a personality you know. Plus I love art, so any blog that posts art.
