How to Gauge My Ears?

About the size of a normal crayon, nothing too much. None of my friends are into it, but I really want to do it. How do sizes work? What size was the one I described? My lobes have 3 piercings in them already, will a gauge mess up the second one?

Can I get it a professional to do it so I don't f.u.ck up?

the size of a normal crayola crayon is 0g (:

you get your ears pierced normally with an 20g/18g needle.

so to start stretching, go with a 16g taper or barbell.

    20g, 16g, 14g, 12g, 10g, 8g, 6g, 4g, 2g, 0g.

the bigger your ears will be, the smaller the number gets.

it shouldnt mess up your other piercings if your only going to 0g.

be aware 0g is known as the point of no return,

if you go any bigger they wont go back to your normal ear hole.

actually you can get them professionally done, butt

    im not quite sure how they would go about stretching;

    ive stretched by myself.

i hope i helped a little; good luck with your ears :D

*i just measured a crayon with my gauge card.

**people get mad when you call it gauging, i guess its 'incorrect' stretching is correct, but its okay (:

you want to get a zero gauge. you can do it yourself by starting with a 16 then move up to a 14 to a 12 to a 10 all the way down to a zero. use a taper to gauge like these ones.

You're other piercings should look fine with it and they wont get messed up by it. You can get a pro to do it at a tattoo shop but it really isn't necessary unless your earlobes aren't already pierced. If they are you can just buy the tapers and do it yourself it hardly hurts as long as you don't skip gauges. And it is unlikely you will mess it up..

you just buy smaller gauge size - they go in 2s. the smaller the gauge number is, the bigger the hole is.

i think normal ear piercing is a 16 or 18 g. so go down to a 14. wait a few weeks, then go to a 12, etc etc.

it hurts a little bit, not too bad. don't pay a professional - rip off! i did my 2nd piercing & it didn't mess anything up...

    You'll need a 14g, 12g, 10g, 8g, 6g, 4g, and 2g, and then that'll be about the size of a crayon, don't skip sizes.

If you decide to do this, wait 3-4 weeks or more between stretches, don't stretch too fast, or you'll get a blow out or tear your ear.

Use vitamin E oil to help aid the stretching.

Clean your ears frequently with anti-bacterial soap, use a q-tip. But just clean around the jewelry at first, don't take it out or it might bleed. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.

And you don't need to go to a professional, you can do it yourself, as long as you're smart about it.

    Good Luck(:

    Tha would probably be 4's.

Idk if they'll get messed up but you can get a professional.

I'd rather do it myself, than pay .

its called "stretching" your ears. Not gauging
