How to safely start labor if it does not start on its own?
I did not have a issue going into labor with my first child. SHe came right on her due date but I was walking and walking and walking days before so this I am sure helped. What are some safe methods to help labor start other then walking?

Medical induction is the ONLY way. In order for natural labor to occur, the right hormones need to be released from/in your body. One being Oxytocin. Released by your Pituitary gland. Which stimulates contractions. If you were to be induced. Your doctor would give you a man-made version of that called Pitocin.
(*Walking only helps if you are already in labor. It can help regulate contractions.)

You cannot start labor on your own. It has to be already started, then you can help it along but those methods don't always work. It just depends on the person and situation.

There aren't any methods that START labor. It's all about when your body says it's time and that's something you cannot force.
