Who else thinks this sounds good? The Rally to Restore Sanity? Your thoughts?

If I weren't Canadian, and broke, I'd hitchhike there. I don't have a passport though. If Stewart had given me a few more months to get my passport - it'd be Hello, D.C! Personally I think Stewart/Colbert will attract way more fans than Beck/Palin did. But you'll never hear about it on False News. They'll send a camera, but you won't see the footage unless they get fewer people than Palin and Beck got.

Fox and Murdoch don't like being shown up.

If they do get more, you can bet that Beck, Hannity, Palin and the rest of the loons at Fox will be yelling about a Communist conspiracy, and blame Obama for letting a 1/2 million terrorists into the nation's capital.

This is is a great idea. And timely too. I don't recall when this country has ever been so divided as a result of the insanity being spewed on the radio. We REALLY need to restore the sanity. The sooner the better.

I told my 15-year-old granddaughter I want to go to this...what a PERFECT way to deal with the 15%-20% of the NUTJOBS than to join with the 80%-85% of the SANE and SENSIBLE Americans! I love the idea. I'm calling about plane ticket(s) tomorrow or even Greyhound bus tickets...I'd be willing to arrive the day of the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert event on October 30th and leave the same day...what FUN!

it sounds like a lot of fun. The only problem is that republicans will show up thinking that it is a hater type of thing & against others. The used to think Colbert was a republican when he was mocking republicans. So...ewhh. but I might be there.

with any luck, it is going to hold approximately an incredible awareness that the 24 hour "information" exhibits and the people who blindly have faith what they hear on the fool field are undesirable for u . s . of america. u . s . of america would win if all of those stations see a dramatic drop in visitors.
